Associate Professor Konrad Pesudovs

Flinders University

Konrad is Deputy Director of the NHMRC Centre for Clinical Eye Research. His main research interest is ophthalmology outcomes research; incorporating optical, visual and patient-centred measurement into the holistic measurement of outcomes in ophthalmology.

Konrad’s other key area of research is in the optics of the eye and visual performance which includes evaluating optical quality metrics to optimise the relationship between optical measurement and various measures of visual performance. This research has led to a better understanding of which measures of visual performance are most appropriate for describing visual loss due to different eye diseases. Konrad is also interested in developing new optical instruments, tests of visual performance and potential vision tests.
