Australia has many rural and remote communities who are some distance from good health care services. Dr Russell has developed a mobile videoconferencing system to provide real time objective measurement tools for assessing patients in their homes via the internet. He aims to investigate the efficiency and cost benefits of treatment via telerehabilitation He hopes to develop best practice guidelines for the establishment of these services with allied health providers.
