Dr Sarah Medland

Dr Medland works in three areas of human health and wellbeing with a focus on the importance of genes and the environment on human behaviours. Her work on the non-medical use of prescription drugs and gene variants in Attention Deficient Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) has the long term goal of improving the effectiveness of treatment programs for people within these categories. She also works in the area of Human Diversity focussing on gene variants that influence characteristics purely to increase our understanding of why we are the way we are.
