Dr Naomi Rogers

University of Sydney

Naomi’s main research interest is in the effects of circadian disruption and sleep loss on physiological and neurobehavioural functions. She is currently studying the effects of circadian disruption using jet lag as a model and sleep restriction in people who already experience sleep disturbance due to other medical disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and asthma, and comparing the effects in subjects without these disorders.
She currently works at the Brain and Mind Research Institute at University of Sydney, studying the sleep/wake patterns in shift workers and how to make it safer for them working at night. Naomi is also studying patients with bipolar disorder and it’s effect on their sleep quality.
